Ceylon Tobacco Company - Adrian Lee Peng Yong
Mr. Adrian Lee Peng Yong was appointed as the Finance Director of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, effective August 1, 2026.
Adrian brings 20 years of progressive, cross-functional experience within the British American Tobacco Group, spanning Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Partnering, Controllership and Regional Finance Leadership across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA).
Most recently, he served as Finance Director for the BAT Malaysia & Singapore Cluster, where he navigated complex regulatory environments and market headwinds to drive sustainable business performance.
Prior to his role in Malaysia, Adrian served as Regional Head of Operations Finance for APMEA, spearheading regional productivity agendas and leading strategic growth roadmaps.
Under his financial stewardship, BAT Malaysia secured first place in the Consumer Products category at the MSWG-NACGSA Corporate Governance Awards, recognising the company's transparency and board practices.
Adrian holds a Bachelor of Business Management with a double major in Finance and Marketing from Singapore Management University.
